He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Riden and Bethie Borden Riden; his siblings, J. C. "Bud" Riden and Anna Mae "Ann" Commons; and his granddaughter Megan Riden.
He is survived by: his children, Kendra "Shelley" Riden, Karen Riden, Kenneth "Randy" Riden, Dana Riden-Davis and Scot Riden; and his sisters, Imogene "Jean" Commons and Donna Struewing. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
