He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Daisy Cornetta Ison; and his siblings, Sandy Parrett and Earl Ison. He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Ison; his sons, John Ison III (Christa) of Lynn, Indiana and Jeff Ison (Jackie) of Lynn, Indiana; his grandchildren, Taylor Gvazdauskas (Keith) of Colorado Springs, Gage Ison, Quaid Ison of Lynn and Lilly Wallace of Lynn; his sister Barbara Ramsey (Owen) of Centerville; and his sister-in-law Donna Sheckles. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
