He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Tangeman and Catherine Althaus Tangeman; his wife Linda E. Steele Tangeman; and his sisters, Patricia Irvine and Mary Lou Dickerson.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Reynolds (Tom) of Richmond, Richard Tangeman of Huntsville and Pam Crawford of Richmond; and his sister Carol Moody of St. Petersburg, Florida. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
