He was predeceased by: his mother Julia Eileen Soper Pegg; and his brother Rick Allen Pegg. He is survived by: his father Dallas Austin; his wife Joy Kircher Pegg; his children, Branden Pegg (Amber) of Indianapolis, Candace Balke (Andrew) of Warsaw, Kristin Pegg of Richmond and John Dallas Pegg Jr. of Richmond; his grandchildren, Julianna, Victoria and Dallas; his siblings, Sam Pegg (Danna), Julie LeMaster (Pete), Rachel Price (Jeremiah) and David Pegg; and his uncles, Walt Soper and Mike Pegg. He is also survived by cousins; and many friends.
