It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Vernon Cox of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edgar and Bertha Cox; and his brothers, Herman, Dale and Ted Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Norma (Allen); his sons, Mike (Donna), Jeff (Claudia), Doug (Debbie) and Tony (Ulises); his grandchildren, Michele Owens (John), Dennis Cox (Jesse), Tyler Cox (Margie), Matthew Cox (Nikki), Krysten Schmidt (Tony), MacKenzie Cox, Cooper Cox, Sean Cox (Kristen) and Matthew Lear; and his siblings, Phyllis Ann Cox of Richmond and John Cox (Jane) of Fort Worth, Texas.. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
