He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph G. and Ruby Terhaar Sr. (Weaver); his wife Frances O. Lambert; his children, Bentonville, Joe, Dairy Herdsman, Bob Bishop, Rodger Terhaar (Shirley) of Richmond, Danny Terhaar (Darlene Rose) of Pershing, Darlene Black (Don Cook) of Centerville, Lisa Pentecost (Tom) of Greens Fork and Joey Terhaar (Kimberly) of Centerville; his sisters, Anna Tornes (Larry), Rose Staight and Elsie Terhaar; his sisters-in-law, Jean, Ilene Terhaar, Mildred "Midge" Mattix and Bonnie Wessler; his daughter-in-law Helen Terhaar (Huddleston); his grandsons, Jason Terhaar and Tommy Pentecost; and his brothers, Charles, Little Joseph, Lawrence, Richard "Toby", Tom, George, John, Harry and Tony Terhaar. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren.
