It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lynn Allen of Richmond, Indiana, born in Van Buren, Indiana, who passed away on April 22, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorrell C. Allen and Ruth Marceil Harvey Allen; his parents-in-law, Dena and Thomas Wardwell; his brothers, Jerald Allen and Jim Allen (Cheryl); his brothers-in-law, David Sheetz and Edward Wardwell; and his nephew Scott Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Allen; his daughters, Amy Ashley (Thomas) and Anne Elstro (Joseph); his grandchildren, Brittanni Elliott (Dustin), Jakob Ryan and Conner Elstro; his great grandchild Taryn Elliott; his siblings, Janet Sheetz, Joyce Frederick (Gary), Jene Allen (Sarah), Jan Allen (Gay) and Joe Allen (Yvonne); his sister-in-law Margaret Wardwell; and his granddaughter Brittanni, RN.
