He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Arvin and Evelyn Isaacs Arvin; and his granddaughter Rachel Ann Stowe. He is survived by: his wife Linda Joan Terry Arvin; his children, Deborah Arvin-Zinck (Paul) of Franklin, Patty Bernhard (Steve) of West Carrollton, Anne Blankenship (Dave) of Lebanon, Jamie Hilbert of Orlando, Kimberly Asher of Richmond, Donnis Stinson (Brian) of Lewisburg, Ohio, Rick Asher (Jody) of Lexington and Michael Asher of Richmond; and his brothers, Michael Arvin of Largo and Gary Arvin of Hamilton, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we regret to inform you that services for James R. Arvin will be private with Chaplain Rick Alvey and brother-in-law, Paul Honeycutt officiating.
