He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Coffman and Verna McFarland Coffman; his granddaughter Dannicah Coffman; and his siblings, Ina Broe, Julie Philbeck, Carol Sexton, Lillie Coffman, Edward Coffman, Stan Coffman and Ruth Wyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Karen "Sue" Burgess Coffman; his children, James "Jim" David Coffman Jr. (Brandy) of Hamilton, Ohio, Krystina Wittenburg (Kevin) of Los Angeles, California and Randy Tarter (Phyllis) of Mooresville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Brooke McCorkel (Stu Herman), Karson Jackson, Maddy Roberson, Emma Tarter, Zedekiah Miller and Naomi Miller; his brother Paul Coffman; his sister-in-law Sharyn "Shari" Coffman; and his pet Becka. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; many friends.
