He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dale Banning and Jeannette Ball Banning; his children, Joe Banning (Carolyn) of Fayetteville, TN, Jeff Banning (Nettsie) of Mooresville, Terry Banning (Nina) of Williamsburg and Dana Garard (Mark) of Richmond; and his brother Jerry Banning of Daytona Beach. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
