The memory of Herbert Abrams of Richmond, Indiana, born in Jackson, Kentucky, who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Marzella Ruth Lakes Abrams; his children, Jeff Abrams and Sherri Belcher; and his siblings, Janice Spivey, Drucilla Maples, Sophia Vanwinkle, Christine Thomas, Ethel Price, Modena Cope, Virgil Abrams and Robert Abrams.
He is survived by: his daughter Judy Shellhorn (John); and his brother Cleatus Wade Abrams (Marie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Doan & Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Goshen Cemetery (3600 North St, Richmond, IN 47374).
