She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Milstead and Jeanette Vore Milstead; her husband Gilbert Wayne Higgs; her son Terrell Higgs (Hollie) of Delray Beach; her granddaughter Christine Higgs; and her brothers, Richard and Harold Milstead.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Higgs (Marcia) of Andrews, Lee Higgs (Janet) of Richmond and Charles Higgs of Abington, Indiana..
