He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Cox and Lillie Mullins Cox; his children, Mary Lynn Cotton and Brian K. Cox; and his grandson Christopher Cotton.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Cox; his stepchildren, Melissa Laux (Brian) and Nick Jones (Elena); and his grandchildren, Johnathan Holman, Meghan Holman, Edmund Jones and Elizabeth Jones. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Community Family Funeral Home (101 W Main St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Goshen Cemetery.
