He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Glen and Elma Yancy Robb Claypoole; and his siblings, Glen, Raymond Claypoole, Carolyn Eitel, Betty Donatelli and Donna "Sue" Manning.
He is survived by: his son Jerry Claypoole (Jennifer) of Centerville; his granddaughters, Olivia and Ella Claypoole of Centerville; his siblings, Everett Claypoole, Velma Bellamy, Mary Davis and Carol Galbraith; and his former wife Vicky Turner. He is also survived by stepchildren and step-grandchildren from a previous marriage; and many friends.
