He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edwards and Nancy Turner Edwards; his wife Vera; and his son Ellis Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Rita Edwards and Marvin Edwards; his granddaughter Amy Chavez; and his great grandchild Sequoyah Chavez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
