She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion E. Murphy and Jennie E. Heller Murphy; her husbands, Merrill M. Petry and Fred Rusterholz; her daughters, Blossom Wicks, Christine Matheny, Shirley J. Osborne and Jennie L. Baker; her stepchildren, Jacqueline Aernie, Bernona Waugh and John Petry; and her siblings, Elizabeth Cann, Bob Murphy, Norval Murphy and William Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lee Mullin of Richmond, JoAnne Lawson of Farmersville, La Verne Smith of Richmond, Ronald E. Wicks (Connie) of Richmond and David A. Wicks of Richmond; and her stepdaughter Madonna of Florida. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, a private service for Erlabell Petry will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Blaine Fults officiating.
