He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Jett and Shirley Collins-Jett; his parents-in-law, Thomas Wright, Sr., Morris Brown, Natalie Alexander Wright and Dorothy Brown; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Wright II and Albert Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Minister Cherri Jett; his children, Kenton Farris, Sr., Eric Jett, Jr., Erron Layne Jett, Briana Jett and Cherice Jett; his goddaughters, Shawntrall Wallace and Dwyanna Shearer; his grandchildren, Kenton Farris, Jr., Paityn Farris and Kayden Bragg; his sisters, Bonnie Walker of Brandon, FL, Donna Mack (Eric) of Richmond, IN and Nicolette Jett of Brandon, FL; his siblings-in-law, Morris Cooper, Aaron Brown, Ron White, Marsha Brown, Sabrina Brown, Kim White and Rosalee Ramsey; and his close friends, Edwin "Don Q" Coble, Ron Platt, Harold Aslinger and Jerry Cavanaugh. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
