She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Gill and Pearl Seeley Gill; her husband George Grubb Jr.; her siblings, Anna Lee Gill, Gilbert Gill and Kathleen Dunbar; and her son-in-law William Grimes.

She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Grimes of Richmond, Gary Grubb (Lisa) of Valparaiso, Karen Schroeder (Robert) of Richmond, Larry Grubb (Nancy) of Richmond and Diana Hoskins (Jim) of Williamsburg, Indiana; her grandchildren, Shelly Pfenninger (Adam), Rhett Schroeder (Bailey), Hannah Wake (Dyson), Tyler Schroeder (Danielle), Kyle Grubb (Elizabeth), Korrin Ladd (Korak), Lindsey Broach (Justin), Kayla Short (Cody), Kraimer Johnson, Brandon Grubb (Destiny Hutchison), Casey Grubb (Brenna Hill), Kohl Hoskins (Alyssa Steffen) and Brittany Johnson; her siblings, Lucy Brockman (Dan), Arthur Gill (Maryann) and Lyndon Gill; and her sister-in-law Aletta Collier (Carl). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
