He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Armstead (Patterson); his daughters, Lisa Armstead and Doriel Armstead (Dori); his siblings, Mary Ella Armstead, Patricia Armstead Terrell (Wilson), Alfred Armstead Jr. and Ronnie Armstead (Shelia); and his sisters-in-law, Etta Lundy, Mary Prince (Charlie), Lavera Patterson and Janice Armstead. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted life-long friends.
