He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville McCauley and Agnes Gilbert McCauley; his daughter Sandra Boyce; and his siblings, Jim McCauley, Edith Herndon and Evelyn Scholten.
He is survived by: his son Rodney McCauley (Patty) of Richmond; and his grandsons, Cary Pipenger (Kristen) of Richmond, Matthew Boyce of New Castle and Troy McCauley (Courtney) of Webster. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
