He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bland and Martha Meeks Bland; and his former wife Emily B. Collett Bland. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Bland; and his daughters, Wilma Sullivan (David) of Connersville, Lucy Qualls of Richmond, Deborah Brown (Tim) of New Albany and Joyce Lentz (Ron) of Richmond. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
