She is survived by: her sons, Dave Reed (Linda) of Richmond, James Burdette (Jan) of Dayton, Ricky Burdette of Richmond, Robin Necessary (Anna) of Erlanger, Terry Necessary (Jennifer) of Hollansburg and Kevin Necessary (Maureen) of Richmond; her son-in-law Steve Gottschalk of Centerville, Indiana; and her uncle Richard Gifford of Richmond. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
