He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. and Olive Lucille Dershem McCurdy; his grandsons, Dan McCurdy and Brian Swihart; and his siblings, Dorothy Sanford and John H. McCurdy.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Laremore McCurdy; his children, Linda Duke (Gregg) of Richmond, Larry McCurdy (Suzanne) of Richmond and Donnie McCurdy (Carol) of Centerville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Todd Duke (Julie), Adam Duke (Annie), Zachary McCurdy (Daniella), Chad McCurdy (Jessica), Chelsea Loria (Matt), Kelli McCurdy, Lee Swihart, Allison Swihart (Josh Clark), Kevin McCurdy (Lisa), Amanda Landrum (Jason) and RaeAnn Turner (Mark); and his sisters, Lucille Therrien and Marti Carlin. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
