She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Hampton and Louisia Jett; her grandparents, Elias, Kathryn Jett, William Hampton and Elizabeth Smith; her granddaughter Tara Street; and her daughter-in-law Karen D. Tevis.
She is survived by: her children, Ruemonte M. Tevis of Dayton, Ohio, Montique R. Tevis of Richmond, Reneta K. Tevis of Louisville, Kentucky, Tyrone of Lorain, Ohio and Tony Jeter of Lorain, Ohio; her grandchildren, Todd Tevis of Columbus, Torian Tevis of Richmond, Tevin Tevis of Sidney, Antinique Tevis of Richmond, Quintin Tevis of Richmond, Michael Tevis of Louisville, Jonique Love of Richmond and Ahrae Marks of Louisville; and her cousins, Beverly Darby of Columbia and Jennifer Alridge of Birmingham, Alabama.. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends including sister.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Community Family Funeral Home (101 W Main St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
