He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hendricks and Amy Hensley Hendricks; and his son Roy Douglas Hendricks. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Vorous Hendricks; his grandchildren, Nathan Hendricks of Richmond, Oliver Hendricks of New Palestine and Stephanie Sandlin of Indianapolis, Indiana; his great grandchild Zayden Bryant; and his cousins, Jenny Warfield and Kathy Ketron. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
