He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Mayse and Ollie Mayse; his wife Lois Mayse; and his siblings, Tommy Mayse, Della Reece, Reva Burton, Dixie Wall and Dovie Mayse.

He is survived by: his children, Roger Mayse (Karen) of Centerville, Renee Green (Duane) of Richmond and Rodney Mayse (Jessica) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Brandon Mayse (Jamie), Ryan Mayse (Kasey), Kelli Fry (Zach), Kyle Green (Ashley) and Makenzie Mayse; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Fry, Norah Mayse, Emorie Mayse and Kyler Green. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter on the way, several nieces, nephews, and his brother and sister in law.
