He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Allen and Katie Allen; his brother Sam Allen; his sister-in-law Betty Ray; his sisters, Marie, Dorothy and Irene; and his nieces, Tina Ray and Kathy Ray Mays.

He is survived by: his nieces, Milda Ray (Houston Richardson) and Beth Estrada; his great-nieces, Anasia Ray and Amiah Ray; his nephews, Sammy Allen, Terry Ray, Jimmy Ray, Terry W. Golff and Shannon Allen (Nathen); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan Ray, Brittany Foster, Deserii Miller, Crisi Ray, James Lear III, David Frame, Kealen Ray, Chaz Richardson, Juston Ray and Eric Ray; his brothers, Eb Allen, Hayes Allen and Dennis Allen; and his cousin Dana Lynn Shaffer.
