He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Allen and Fannie Jennings Allen; his former wife Una M. Hellard Allen; and his siblings, Odella Carpenter, Zena Golden, Eva Ebnet, Georgia Davidson, Flonie Chaney, Zora Shell, Novella Bell, Bentley, Orbie, Randle and Ira Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret M. Wilmoth Allen; his children, Donna J. Allen of Richmond, Patty S. Whitton (Larry) of South Carolina, David R. Allen (Alisa) of Centerville, Indiana and Brian S. Allen (Lynnette) of Centerville, Indiana; his stepchildren, Edward Reagan (Sue) of Richmond, Terry Wilmoth (Molly) of Webster, Diana Vaughn (Jim) of Richmond, Greg Wilmoth (Wanda) of Richmond and Barbara Smith of Centerville; and his grandchildren, Travis, Kevin, Michael, Chase and Jared. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
