He was predeceased by: his former wife Hazel Mae; and his stepson Dale Idlewine. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Grant; his stepdaughter Rose Marie Cowen-Hartlage; his adoptive daughter Mamie Houser-Colasante; and his stepchildren, Todd Idlewine (Kelly) of Ninevah, Debbie Zimmerman (George) of Elizabethtown, Cathy Summa (David) of Coopersville, MI and Julie Grant of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
