He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fox and Julia Ramsey Fox; and his siblings, Deloris Rader and Ed Fox Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherri Jones (Berry), Lori Dinkel (Troy) and Melissa Brandenburg (Mike); his grandchildren, Conner, Sage, Kain, Julia Claire and Nicholas; and his siblings, Frank Fox, Betty Murray (Bob) and Becky Kramer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home (222 N 10th St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
