She is survived by: her mother Susan Smalley Strange of Richmond; her siblings, Michelle Powell of Clay City, Kentucky, Roger Strange of Richmond, Gerald Powell (Mona) of Washington and Walter Powell of Richmond; her nieces, Lylith and Madison Powell; her nephew Channing Powell; her great-nephews, Kaylianna, Cameron, Kobe, Emrys and Lebron Powell; her father-in-law Shirley Scott of Kentucky; her friend Carol Kuss; and her pets, Charlie and Zoey. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
A memorial service for Carolyn Strange Scott will be held in the future when the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, with Pastor Ted Chalk officiating.
