He was predeceased by: his parents, Linnie Oral and Wilma Lewis Edgar. He is survived by: his wife Donna Edgar; his daughter Shilo McClerren (Dennis) of Richmond; and his grandsons, Matthew, Kyle and Cody Higgs. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
