He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Hazel Hanagan Smith; his daughters, Robbin Lindsey and Terri Lohmoeller; and his grandson William Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son Jack Smith (Pam) of Centerville; his sister Betty Dickerson (Fred) of Centerville; and his son-in-law Roger Lindsey. He is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
