As Billy departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Billy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Billy leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Daugherty and Bessie Daugherty; his wife Jessie L. Daugherty; and his son Ricky Daugherty. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Allen Daugherty, Ronnie Daugherty, Donnie Daugherty, Kenny Daugherty, Gena Daugherty and Vickie Lunsford (Jeff). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a lot of close friends.
