She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Ruhl and Josie Bicknell Ruhl Sr.; her husband Carl Edward Berner; her brother Floyd Ruhl Jr.; her daughter-in-law Gayle Elsrod; and her former husband Ernie Crowder.
She is survived by: her children, Joanna Brannock (Tim) of Muncie, Indiana, Brad Berner (Carla) of Venice and Michael Berner of Pershing, Indiana; and her brother Charles Ruhl (Betty) of Richmond, Indiana. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, nieces; nephews; a cousin; and many friends.
