She was predeceased by: her father Ermon Lewis; her husband Irvin Perkins; and her son Michael Lewis. She is survived by: her mother Willie Mae Johnson; her children, Tina Miller, Felita Walker, Kevin Perkins, Stacie Perkins (Ronnie Tevis), Bandon Perkins (Kylie) and Aramis Walker; her stepdaughter Vickie Robinson (Bill); her grandchildren, Lydia "Lo", Gavin, LaTeshia, Teneisha, Keisha, Olivia, Lexus, Symone, Kevin Jr. and Damon; her siblings, Kay Brown (Charlie) and Ermon Johnson (Jean); her aunts, Mae McCoy of Florida and Theola Williams; her uncle Lucious Williams; her brother-in-law Gail Perkins (Kathy); her nieces, Lori Williams Burton and Ember Lewis; and her close friends, Jennifer Frye and Coleen McDougle.
