He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lambert Kovach; his daughter Barbara Holmes (Mike) of Lansing, Michigan; his grandchildren, Bradley Holmes (Amy) and Jennifer Welling; his great grandchildren, Beau, Rhys, Eli Holmes, Aiden, Benjamin and Maddie Welling; his brothers, Gene Kovach (Carol) and Nick Kovach (Elane); and his grandson-in-law Pat Welling.
