She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Cook and Ada Sharp Cook; her husband Byron White; and her brothers, John H. and Garland P. Cook.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn White Assiff of Richmond, Marianne White Janney of Wilmington and Jo White of Richmond; her granddaughters, Hannah and Myrna Janney; and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Johnstone of Richmond, Shirley White of Buena Park and Marcia Conley of Knightstown, Indiana. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
