The passing of Barbara Ann Grimes of Richmond, Indiana, born in Hamilton, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 86. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy (Verna Abrams Cox) and Barbara; her husband Samuel Grimes; her son Darrell Grimes; and her siblings, Willard Cox, Marie Miller, Roy Cox Jr., Delmer Cox, Elmer Cox, Lloyd Cox, Paul Cox, Virginia McKinney, Mildred Cox and Yvonne Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Grimes (Patricia), Belinda Frye (Charlie), Kevin Grimes (Suzi), Anthony Grimes and Mark Grimes (Becky); and her brother Ralph Cox (Joyce). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doan & Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Goshen Cemetery (3600 North St, Richmond, IN 47374).
