He was predeceased by: his parents, Jon Smith and Ella Smith; and his siblings, John Jr., Bob, James, Margie and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Lina Smith; and his children, Eddie, Duane, Darren, Kay, Judy and Sharon. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
