She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pierce and Flossie Beetem Pierce; her husband Merlin R. "Pete" Petry; her granddaughter Stephanie Reed; and her sisters, June Hobbs and Florence Arnold.
She is survived by: her son Steven Petry (Sheri) of Cambridge City, Indiana; her granddaughter Sarah Petry of Cambridge City; her nieces, Vickie Jackson (Don) of Richmond and Star Johnson (Joe) of Richmond; her nephew Gary Hobbs (Nell) of Connersville, Indiana; and her friends, Ramona and Cecil Penland of Cambridge City.
