He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Coe; his children, Kristin Scalzo (Brian) and Andy Abner, Jr. (Susan); his grandchildren, Dylan, Laney, Cameron Scalzo, Brantley, Keegan, Kaydi Thomas and Elizabeth Ewbanks; his siblings, Oscar Abner (Rhonda), Lisa White (Tommy), Terry Abner, Casey Clinton, Steven Lakes (Julie) and Jimmy Abner; his siblings-in-law, Janet Abner and James Eversole; and his friends, Gene and Larry.
