It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Faye Ricker of Richland, Indiana, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Jr. Thomas and Loetta Thomas (Evans); her son Edward Brinson; her granddaughter Brianna Brinson; her brother Ricky Thomas; and her sister-in-law Trisha Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Curtis Ricker Sr.; her children, Dusty Brinson, Scott Brinson (Emily), Timothy Brinson (Jodi), Pamela Canary (Lee), Curtis Ricker Jr. and Jeffrey Ricker (Emily); her siblings, Sherry Barnett (Randy), David Thomas, Debbie Mock (Andy), Sheila Luker and Penny Wheeler (Darryn); her grandchildren, Jade, Abigail, Jacob, Nicholas, Megan, Samuel, Kristina, Amie, Casey, Anna, Josiah, Hudson, Bryce and Brayden; and her daughter-in-law Patty Brinson. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Koehler Funeral Home (304 E Main St, Boonville, IN 47601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners or to Shiloh Cemetery.
