She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Lucas and Mary; her husband George Steele; her granddaughter Erica Shindelar; and her siblings, Glenda, Mary Frances and Jim.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Shindelar (Arla), Wayne Steele (Tina), Richard Steele (Sheila) and Anna Irvine (John); and her brother William "Bill" Lucas. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
