He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bretzinger and Rosalie Bretzinger (Smith); his parents-in-law, William and Lucy Janssen; and his brother Ed Bretzinger.
He is survived by: his wife Frieda Reff (Janssen); his daughters, Amber Bodak (Casey) of Valparaiso, IN and Athena Dickinson (Andrew) of Troy, TX; his grandsons, Ashton Dickinson (Ashley) of Whitestown, IN, Nathaniel Moorhouse of Troy, TX, Reece Dickinson of Troy, TX, Xander of Valparaiso, IN and Liam Bodak of Valparaiso, IN; and his siblings, Janet Nelson of Rockford, IL. and Randy Bretzinger of Rockford, IL.. He is also survived by aunt and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
