With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Warnell Hancock of Rensselaer, Indiana, born in Fort Payne, Alabama, who passed away on October 31, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Swan Hancock and Gracie Hancock (Pendergrass). He is survived by: his wife Katherine Hancock; his children, Jennifer Cole (Matthew) of Decatur, IN and David Hancock (Kristol) of Greenwood, IN; his grandchildren, Kendel, Peyton, Myra, Lucy and Ella; and his siblings, Louvina Treece, Alfred Hancock, Marlon Hancock (Shirley) and Karen Cooper (Gary).
Memorial contributions can be made in Walter's name to the American Heart Association.
