It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vivian Jean Olsen of Rensselaer, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Strande and Daisy Strande (Taylor); her spouse Berg "Kalin" Olsen; and her daughter Donna Kaline Olsen. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Jean Kronenbitter (John Mayer) of West Union, IL and Deanna Lynn Walter (Paul) of Rensselaer; her grandchildren, Eric Kronenbitter, Joel Kronenbitter (Renee), Jill Korgul (Les), Jennifer Campbell (Ryan), Joshua Walter (Hannah) and Jamie Walter; and her sister Ruth Iwanicki of Illinois. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials in Jean's honor and her love of animals be made to the Friends of the Jasper County Animal Shelter.
