She was predeceased by: her parents, Erbie Banister and Mary Banister (Hetrick); her husband Kevin Howard; her children, Tanya Abuhl and James Howard; and her brother Erbie R. Banister.
She is survived by: her son Matthew Howard of Altoona, IA; and her siblings, Kathy Lynn Geren (David) of Rensselaer, IN and Raymond Lavern Banister. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
