He was predeceased by: his parents, Hargis Hopkins and Myrtle Hopkins (Allen); his wife Emily Mae; and his siblings, Madge Williams, Juanita Smith, Paul Hopkins, John Hopkins, Jr. and Otto Hopkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Wade Hopkins, Bobby Hopkins (Stephanie) and Joe Hopkins; and his sisters, Beulah McEwan (Jim) and Daisy Craft (Delbert). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Schriner's Children's Hospital, or Riley's Children's Hospital.
