He was predeceased by: his father Richard Sr. Boring; and his sister Barbara Boring. He is survived by: his mother Pauline Boring (Richards); his wife Christine Eger; his children, Alexea Boring and Katherine Francis; and his grandchildren, Athena and Adrianna.
